Anti-theft Security Door Guide
The security of an anti-theft door depends heavily on its design. Here’s what you need to know about safety ratings, key parts, and frame types.

1. Safety Levels: Steel Thickness Matters
Anti-theft security doors are graded on 4 levels, mainly based on steel plate thickness:
Level 1: Frame 1.5mm, sill/protected panel/unprotected panel all 0.8mm.
Level 2: Frame 1.8mm, sill/protected panel 1.0mm, unprotected panel 0.8mm.
Levels 3 & 4: Frame 2.0mm, sill 1.2mm, protected panel 1.0mm, unprotected panel 1.0mm (similar to Level 3; Level 4 may have upgraded locking or craftsmanship).

2. Core Parts: Frame, Door, and Hardware
A secure door consists of:
Frame (header, sill)
Door panel (with mechanical handle)
Hardware (main lock, auxiliary locks, hinges, cylinder, etc.).
Hardware is crucial: the main lock and side bolts resist prying, hinges support the door’s weight, and the cylinder determines picking resistance (e.g., high-security cylinders offer stronger defense).

3. Frame Designs: Two Popular Styles
Yonghe door frames come in two main types:
Rounded or beveled edges: Sleek, modern look, fits contemporary decor.
Double-square frame: Stronger, more impact-resistant, good for high-security needs.
When choosing, consider the safety rating (Level 3/4 recommended), hardware quality (locks, hinges), and frame style (both sturdy and good-looking) to keep your home safe and secure.
